Application Process

Governance Collective is intentionally designed as a selective, discussion-driven cohort experience rather than a high-volume certification program.

Step 1 — Application Submission

All prospective participants must complete an application outlining their professional background, board exposure, leadership experience, and interest in private company governance.

Step 2 — Interview Process

Selected applicants will participate in a brief phone interview to discuss:

  • Professional experience

  • Governance interests and goals

  • Alignment with the program structure and cohort dynamics

  • Readiness for simulation-based learning and boardroom discussion

Step 3 — Cohort Selection

Final participants are selected based on overall fit, experience level, diversity of perspectives, and ability to contribute meaningfully to peer-level governance discussions.

To maintain a high-quality and interactive experience, each cohort is limited to 15 participants.

Step 4 — Enrollment Confirmation

Participants accepted into the program will receive a formal acceptance notification and enrollment instructions.

Payment is required within five (5) business days of acceptance to secure placement in the cohort.

Due to limited cohort size, accepted applicants who do not complete payment within the required timeframe may forfeit their seat to waitlisted candidates.
